Behind the Scenes of the "Drone Catch + Throw"
Originally conceived and performed for the movie The Greatest Showman, this type of drone shot has become our specialty. Using our light cinema drone shooting 6K Raw video, can you notice when flying camera then caught just before entering the doorway? The propellers stop instantly as soon as the drone's custom catch handles make contact with the operator's gloves. This allows a safe and seamless transition and safe operation through doorways, windows, and closeups to talent.
